Shot out of the air in enemy territory in the middle of the greatest international crisis since the end of the Cold War, former U.S. Secret Service agent Marcus Ryker finds himself facing an impossible task.

I used to see the offer to purchase 3 more credits for around $35 usd on a fairly regular basis. Have any of you seen it lately? I have a feeling Audible is trying for a more profitable sales model lately by making sure people pay higher dollars for additional books they want. Same way they recently closed the loophole that allowed someone to add Audible narration to a borrowed public library Kindle edition.

I always see it when i have 0 credits left.

If you’ve got a $ credit balance it doesn’t tend to show either.

I talked to Audible CS to get it once when I had a $ credit balance and they told me it was always available to do and set up the transaction for me.

Just FYI, in my experience if you can’t find the option and dig up one of the old emails where they sent it to you the link will still work.

I see it all the time when my credit count drops to zero or 1.

Once you’ve been a member for 3 months you’ll have the option to purchase extra creedits at a discount.

Thanks.

Guess I gotta wait a while longer.

I signed up towards the end of January.

You need to have less than two credits in your account. Then, you can purchase more, here.

I just used my last credit and am in a yearly subscription.

It won’t reset until June.

However, I would very much like to get more books before then, and I’m sorry but I’m not going to spend more than the amount of a credit on a book. I thought I had read that there was a way to buy 3 more credits at a time, but I don’t see the option anywhere on my account.

Am I going to have to cancel and resub to get more credits? I don’t really have the money to just get another year right now unfortunately. I know I can get a monthly sub, but it does end up costing more per credit.

Whenever I am out of credits, the option to purchase more generally appears in the spot on the top-right of the website, where it normally tells me how many credits I have. This is on the desktop site, I have not seen the option on the mobile app.

I have an annual Platinum membership, but it doesn’t renew until June 2019… I’m about to be out of credits (thank you Dresden Files! ❤️❤️❤️) what is the most cost effective way to get more? Is my only option to use the «buy 3» feature? Just want to make sure I’m not missing anything.

(Besides returning books.

I have no interest in being shady/dishonest)

Check the price of the Kindle version (I always buy the book) and 9/10 times the audiobook is discounted.

Not perfect, but works for me.

I’m around 60-70 books a year this way.

I also sub to Kindle unlimited.

I’m tempted to buy the three extra credits.

Does anyone do that? I’m not sure that I can wait until my next monthly credit arrives.

I believe I’ve done it once when I was going crazy listening to the Harry Potter series, and I just didn’t want to wait for me next credit. I drive a lot for school and work so Audible is on every moment I’m in the car.

I literally just bought extra credits because I’m listening to Harry Potter.

There so we’ll done!

The Rithmatist is very Harry Potter like.

If you like HP you should give it a try.

I bought it while listening to HP too, the first few books are much shorter than most I listen to.

Before you buy extra credits on a monthly consider going annual, https://www.reddit.com/r/audible/comments/8imcvf/comment/dyvpxaf?st=JH7OVLSR&sh=5745702e

Thanks.

Audible is the biggest name in audiobooks, but even if you’ve spent hundreds of hours listening, there are some tricks hidden beneath the surface. Here are some of the best ways to get the most of your Audible experience and even save some money in the process.

Finding time to listen to audiobooks is easy—almost as easy as it is to find great audiobooks to…

While you can buy audiobooks from Audible outright, the service also offers a subscription that costs $15/month.

With it, you get one credit for a free book each month.

If you listen to a lot of audiobooks, that might be a good deal.

However, if you can stretch a single audiobook out over more than a month, then you can save a bit of money. Audible has a hidden Silver plan that costs $15 every two months, instead of every month.
