As of Player Appreciation Week 2018, players can compress 100 Growtokens into a Mega Growtoken, allowing them to hold more than 200 tokens.
NOTE: Purchasing Growtokens from Locke The Traveling Salesman or the Lock-bot does not count as «earning» them for quests.
The Growtoken system was first implemented into the game on 30 March 2014. At first, Growtokens were extremely difficult to obtain, leading players to believe that it was an April Fools prank and that the item did not exist. However, a bug was discovered in the system which meant that people were not given their deserved tokens which was later fixed.
March 30th: Growtokens are here! You earn them each day based on how many people visit your worlds, so go make some awesome worlds, then spend your Growtoken on fabulous prizes in the shop!
Note: This Gazette was from when Growtokens were first introduced and does not reflect on current methods of earning Growtokens.
On the 30th of March, 2014, Growtokens were first introduced into the game. They are green coin-like tokens with the symbolic tree imprinted onto it. They cannot be dropped or traded and can only be spent in the Growtoken Store.
The Mega Growtoken is an untradeable item released as a part of Player Appreciation Week 2018. One can be obtained from double tapping (compressing) 100 Growtokens in one’s inventory.
This item does not have any recipe because it is no longer, or was never obtainable.
The Summer Token was released as a currency for Summer Clash. They are used to purchase items on the Summer Clash Rewards Store.
